RaeLearn started with a problem we knew firsthand: people are often expected to know how to do the work before anyone has actually taught them how the work works.
Working behind the scenes with businesses, nonprofits, founders, and executives meant constantly stepping into unfamiliar systems, industries, and responsibilities. A lot of that learning happened the hard way through research, trial and error, and figuring things out while the work was already happening.
That became the starting point for RaeLearn.
The Challenge
Most online learning platforms are very good at delivering courses. That did not automatically mean they were good at preparing someone for real work.
For an aspiring virtual assistant or support professional, knowing the definition of a task is different from understanding what a client may actually ask for, what information they need first, what can go wrong, and how the work fits into a larger organization.
For small businesses and nonprofits, there was another problem. Training someone internally can take time they already do not have.
RaeLearn needed to bridge both sides: help people become more capable before they enter the work, while giving organizations a practical way to develop the people supporting them.
Our Approach
Rather than building a traditional course library first, RAEFORM designed RaeLearn around practical learning paths and the situations learners are likely to encounter on the job.
Courses are structured to provide context before complexity, explain why a task is done rather than only how to click through it, and give learners resources they can return to when they are doing the work themselves.
The platform was also designed beyond individual learning. RaeLearn includes the foundation for group accounts so organizations can assign learning, track progress, and use the platform as part of internal training.
What We Built
RAEFORM designed and developed RaeLearn as its own learning platform rather than placing the courses inside a generic third-party LMS.
The product includes a course catalog, structured lesson experience, learner accounts, progress tracking, certificates, learning resources, and pathways for different types of learners. Group learning functionality is being developed for businesses and organizations that want to train multiple people through the same environment.
The platform is also being connected to the wider RAEFORM ecosystem. Skills and learning completed through RaeLearn can support a learner's professional profile on WorkWell, creating a path between learning a skill, showing evidence of it, and finding opportunities to use it.
Where It Is Going
RaeLearn remains an active RAEFORM product rather than a completed client project.
The goal is not to turn every course completion into another certificate sitting in a downloads folder. It is to shorten the distance between “I don't know how to do this yet” and “I can actually handle this.”
As the platform grows, RaeLearn is being developed around individual courses, certificate pathways, organizational learning, practical resources, and training informed by professionals who have actually done the work.
